Raw Comedy, Hot Food – The Wheatsheaf

Ballyrags Comedy returns to The Wheatsheaf on Wednesday 5th February for another night of sharp, live stand-up in one of the island’s best-loved comedy rooms.
Your host for the evening is Ballyrags co-founder Toby Brown, armed with biting sarcasm, proudly scurrilous language, and a hosting style that keeps the pace tight and the laughs coming thick and fast.
£10.00
Headlining is Nathan Eagle — an engaging, high-energy storyteller who can win over any crowd. Drawing on growing up working class, life as a care home nurse, and the odd unexpectedly gymnastic party trick, Nathan’s comedy is personal, vivid, and packed with big laughs.
Quickly establishing himself as one of the most exciting prospects on the UK circuit, Nathan has earned praise from established comedians including Zoe Lyons, Paul Tonkinson, and Tom Deacon. He’s a unique firecracker of a performer — warm, fearless, and effortlessly engaging.
Alongside his live stand-up success, Nathan took a 5-star reviewed split-bill show, Stranger Friends, to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018. He’s also an accomplished actor and sketch writer, best known as a regular feature of sketch and film group Broken Bricks, with appearances across numerous short films and festival-screened projects. His on-screen work earned him DV Mission’s Best Actor award, recognising his standout performances.
