Prepare for a swashbuckling pantomime adventure, the likes of which ye never seen before! Join young Jim Hawkins on the adventure of a lifetime as he hunts for buried treasure in this hilarious, high-energy take on this classic pirate tale.
Alongside Dame Hawkins, the Innkeeper (Jim’s mother) and the shambolic, yet lovable Pirate Pete, Jim sets sail for Treasure Island, but watch out, because the evil Long John Silver has tricks up his sleeve and a band of bumbling pirate misfits ready for mischief!
Packed with outrageous jokes, silly sea-shanty singalongs, and plenty of booing and cheering, this family-friendly pantomime guarantees laughs, thrills, and surprises for all. Will Jim outwit the pirates? Can Dame Hawkins keep her wits about her? What exactly is a jib, and why are certain cuts so likeable? And who will find the legendary treasure first?
Ballyrags Comedy Club presents Treasure Island. Featuring some of the best award winning comedians on the Island, stars of stage and TV, performing in this pantomime adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s children’s novel.
