Stand Up for Veterans

Laughter with heart. For our first ever charity night we set up at The Veteran Pub in Ryde — a not-for-profit pub and hotel that supports local veterans however they need it, from temporary accommodation for those who are homeless to respite breaks for anyone dealing with PTSD. Tickets were free; we asked for donations instead, with collection buckets on the night and every penny going where it matters.

On stage, a cracking line-up united from both civilian and service backgrounds: the sharp, insightful Joe Fortis; the always-entertaining Grant Allen; the heartfelt and hilarious Rae Lloyd; and the unpredictable energy of Irish. A brilliant mix of talent for an evening that meant something.

A great night out that gave back — exactly the sort of trouble we're proud to make.
