How we handle refunds for tickets, the shop, and the Gold Card membership. Short version: if it's our fault you get your money back; if it's a change of mind we'll do what we can within reason.

Tickets

If we cancel a show, you get a full refund (ticket face value) automatically — you don't need to ask. If a show goes ahead but the headline act changes for reasons outside our control, the show stands; we'll let you know and refund only if the change is so material that the gig is essentially a different night.

If you can't make it but the show is going ahead: tickets aren't generally refundable, but if you ask at least 7 days before the show we'll do our best to either resell your spot or move you to a future date. Drop us a line at shout@ballyrags.com.

Shop (merch)

You have 14 days from the day you receive the item to let us know you'd like to return it, and a further 14 days to send it back. Item must be unused, in its original condition. Refunds are processed within 7 days of us getting it back, to the original payment method.

Postage costs to return the item are the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or wrong (then we cover it). Damaged or wrong items — photograph and email shout@ballyrags.com and we'll sort a replacement or refund.

Custom or personalised items (if we ever offer any) are not returnable for change of mind.

Gold Card membership

Memberships are non-refundable once issued except where required by law. If we cancel a Royal Esplanade Third-Thursday that your Gold Card would have got you into, we'll discount your next year's renewal pro-rata — we won't issue a partial refund.

How to ask for a refund

Email shout@ballyrags.com with: your order number (from your confirmation email), the item / ticket concerned, and a quick line about what's up. We aim to reply within 3 working days.

Your statutory rights

None of the above affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and related regulations.
