Pat Smith
The Esplanade Hotel
Big changes afoot — and a brand-new home to match. Ballyrags moved into The Royal Esplanade Hotel in Ryde: spacious, vibrant, and built for an unforgettable night of laughter. We christened it in style.
Headlining was Pat Smith, the Essex-born comic and former soldier tearing up the UK circuit with quick-fire wit, big laughs and relatable stories. A winner of multiple comedy competitions and a star of Ustreme TV's Laughter Class, Pat brings energy, warmth and razor-sharp punchlines that make every gig stick.
Hosting the evening — and steering Ballyrags' new monthly residency in Ryde — was Luke Lamont, all sharp wit, infectious energy and a knack for keeping the crowd in stitches. A fresh line-up every month, no two nights the same, and a new venue set for bigger laughs and proper nights out.
