Tim Biglowe
The Wheatsheaf
Hippy hair, an easy charm and a knack for steering a story somewhere you genuinely didn't expect — Tim Biglowe is a storyteller's comic, all well-pitched self-deprecation and original, unexpected material drawn from a life that's been more eventful than most.
His Fringe shows have mined some unlikely seams: Grease Monkey and Landlubber chart his move from life on a canal boat to dry land and everything that came after, including the small matter of becoming a newlywed afloat. The graft is being noticed too — he was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards 2024 and picked up the Critic's Choice Award at Morecambe Fringe the same year.
What you get is a warm, high-energy hour from a comic who finds the funny in the genuinely odd corners of his own life — and tells it like he's letting you in on a secret. A proper find.
Exactly the kind of fresh talent we love to champion.
